Stephanie Robles is a BMI registered songwriter and the lead singer for The Good Fun Band , Tricky Sweet and the Jeff N Steff Acoustic Duo. She recently relocated to Oceanside and looks forward to performing locally where there are many live music venues to engage with.
Her influences range from Heart's Wilson Sisters, Chrissy Hind of the Pretenders, and Pat Benatar to contemporary artists Sarah McLaughlin, Sara Bareilles, Lzzy Hale from Halestorm and Taylor Momsen of The Pretty Reckless. But those are just her rock influences, she loves Country, Broadway, Jazz and the beautiful Harmonies of the Yacht Rock era. Raised in a large family where everyone sang and participated in local theater, she started performing with her father as a toddler, started playing the piano at the age of 8 and writing music in her teens. Music has been her passion most of her life. She has been performing with various bands since college and worked with local theater companies in San Diego County since moving here in 1987. Her happy place is really on stage or in the studio, whether it be recording her own original works or contributing to other projects. She has also been fortunate to direct several choirs and musical events. This new chapter in her life is exciting as she works towards performing her original works live.
